Owner Erin Sorensen
Meet our Owner, Erin Sorensen, who resides in Beulah with her husband and four children. Her journey towards a career of working with seniors started at the age of eight when she volunteered with her grandmother to do hair for the residents at the community nursing home. She knew from that point on that her heart was with seniors. She desired to do her part in making the end years of their lives as fulfilling as the beginning years.
Erin became a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) at the age of 14 and poured her heart into the residents of her community nursing home. She continued to work as a CNA, a Certified Medication Assistant (CMA), and a ward clerk as she put herself through college at the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and began her career as a Registered Nurse (RN) at nursing homes in rural western North Dakota. She brings many years of experience of working with seniors to Home Instead.
At Home Instead we are dedicated to providing tailor-made, compassionate in-home senior care for families in the Bismarck, Hazen, and Minot areas. Our franchise was established with a clear mission: to ensure that every family in our community receives the care and support they deserve as their loved ones age.
In May of 2020, we proudly opened our first Home Instead location in Hazen, ND. Recognizing the increasing need for high-quality senior care, we set out to create a warm and nurturing environment where seniors can feel safe, comfortable, and valued. Just a year later, in response to the growing demand for our services, we expanded our reach and opened a second location in Bismarck. Our commitment to excellence in care remained unwavering as we built strong relationships with the Bismarck community. Continuing our journey of growth, we opened our third location in Minot ND, another year later. This expansion enabled us to serve seniors and their families in the Minot area, providing them with the same personalized and compassionate care that has become synonymous with the Home Instead name. We are immensely proud of the progress we have made in just three short years. Our franchise has thrived, thanks to the trust and support of the communities we serve. We are excited to see what the future holds and how we can continue to bridge the gap of aging in North Dakota. Our dedicated team remains committed to making a positive difference in the lives of seniors, ensuring they can age gracefully and comfortably in their own homes. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to our mission of providing exceptional in-home senior care with a compassionate touch. We are honored to serve the communities of Bismarck, Hazen, and Minot, and we look forward to being there for you and your loved ones every step of the way as you navigate the journey of aging. Together, we can bridge the gap of aging and create a brighter future for seniors in North Dakota.
